Terms of Use for HEGO DEX

1. Description of the Platform

This website-hosted user interface (this "Interface") is an open-source frontend software portal to the HEGO DEX Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading platform, a decentralized and community-driven collection of blockchain-enabled smart contracts and tools (the "HEGO DEX Platform"). This Interface and the HEGO DEX Platform are made available by HEGO Ventures. All transactions conducted on the platform are executed via permissionless smart contracts.

As the Interface is open-sourced and the HEGO DEX Platform and its related smart contracts are accessible by any user, entity, or third party, there may be third-party web and mobile user interfaces that allow interaction with the HEGO DEX Platform.

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

THIS INTERFACE AND THE HEGO DEX PLATFORM ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

HEGO Ventures does not provide, own, or control the HEGO DEX Platform or any transactions conducted on the platform or via related smart contracts. By using or accessing this Interface or the HEGO DEX Platform and related smart contracts, you agree that no developer or entity involved in creating, deploying, or maintaining this Interface or the HEGO DEX Platform will be liable for any claims or damages whatsoever associated with your use, inability to use, or your interaction with other users of this Interface or the HEGO DEX Platform, including any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, digital assets, tokens, or anything else of value.

3. Geographic Restrictions

The HEGO DEX Platform may not be available in certain jurisdictions where its use is prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to ensure that accessing or using the HEGO DEX Platform complies with the laws and regulations of your country or region of residence.

By using or accessing this Interface, the HEGO DEX Platform, or related smart contracts, you represent and warrant that:

• You are not located in, incorporated or established in, or a citizen or resident of any jurisdiction where the use of the HEGO DEX Platform is prohibited.
• You are not subject to sanctions or otherwise designated on any list of prohibited or restricted parties or excluded or denied persons, including but not limited to the lists maintained by government authorities such as the United States’ Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, or the European Union.

If you reside in a jurisdiction where the use of the HEGO DEX Platform is prohibited, you must not access or use this Interface, the HEGO DEX Platform, or any related smart contracts.

4. Assumption of Risks

You acknowledge and accept that:

• The HEGO DEX Platform operates as a decentralized system, and HEGO Ventures does not control or guarantee the performance, security, or availability of the platform or its smart contracts.
• Transactions conducted on the HEGO DEX Platform are irreversible, and you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and validity of all transactions before confirming them.
• The use of this Interface and the HEGO DEX Platform involves inherent risks, including but not limited to smart contract vulnerabilities, blockchain network issues, and market volatility.

5. Release of Liability

By using or accessing this Interface, the HEGO DEX Platform, or related smart contracts, you release and hold harmless HEGO Ventures, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and developers from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of this Interface, the HEGO DEX Platform, or any interactions with other users.

6. Modification of Terms

HEGO Ventures reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of this Interface, the HEGO DEX Platform, or related smart contracts after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
